FAQ

Coronavirus Announcement (03/13/20)

As always, the safety of our players, spectators, and employees at our facilities is of the utmost importance. With the recent news regarding COVID-19/Coronavirus, we have important information regarding our facilities.

First of all, we do plan to be open for all scheduled games, programs, etc. Of course, if any team, player, or parent feels that it is in not in their best interest to participate, we understand completely.  We think that everyone should take any necessary precautions to keep your family members healthy and safe.  If coaches end up not having enough players to field a team, we ask that they just let us know so that we can notify the other team, as well as referees, etc.

We are making every attempt to limit the number of people per field and within the facility. Therefore, we ask that

  • Players should show up for their game time(s) only. Please do not stay around to watch other games.
  • Players must limit the number of spectators attending their matches to only one or two.
  • Players should also refrain from shaking hands after matches.
  • For youth games, trainings and programs we ask that players bring only one parent and leave siblings and grandparents at home.
  • While at the facility, we ask that spectators try to keep as much distance as possible from each other, preferably 6 feet, as recommended by the CDC

For our part, we will be wiping down/disinfecting door handles, restrooms, tables, etc. frequently to minimize risk of transmission on any surfaces within the building.

For more information on COVID-19/Coronavirus, visit CDC’s Coronavirus website.

If you have any additional questions, please contact our facilities directly.

Thank you.

Exactly what is SportsOhio?

It’s a 100-acre sports park that’s home to Soccer First (indoor & outdoor Soccer); Field Sports (indoor & outdoor Football, Baseball, Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Birthday Parties, Inflatables, Volleyball, Sand Volleyball and more); The Golf Center (year-round driving range, 9-hole Par 3 course, and FootGolf) and PowerPlay (Go Karts, Mini Golf, Batting Cages and Birthday Parties).

My children are 3 and 5 years old. What can they do at SportsOhio?

During the outdoor season, kids these ages will probably have the most fun playing our 18-hole Mini Golf Course at PowerPlay. Our Rookie Track Karts (for ages 4-10) are also a fun way to spend time at PowerPlay. We also offer other programs that require pre-registration. These include Little Champions, a developmental program starting at 18 months offered at Field Sports, Soccer programs starting at age 2 at Soccer First, Tee Ball and Football programs starting at age 4 at Field Sports and Golf Camps starting at age 5.

How do I register for programs?

Online registration is available for programs at Field Sports and Soccer First. Online payments can only be processed with credit cards. If you would like to pay with a check or cash, please visit the SportsOhio campus and fill out a registration form. The registration form and check can be mailed to Field Sports, 6400 Dublin Park Drive, Dublin OH 43016 or Soccer First, 6490 Dublin Park Drive, Dublin OH 43016.

To register for programs at The Golf Center, please mail the registration form and check to The Golf Center at SportsOhio, 6100 Dublin Park Drive, Dublin OH 43016 or stop by the pro shop to register.

For special programs, such as Phat Fridays or Open Play, simply register and pay when you arrive at the SportsOhio campus.

We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards.

Can my child drive your Go Karts? If not, can they ride along?

Go Kart drivers must be at least 58″ tall (4’10”), regardless of age, to drive our Go Karts. Riders must be at least 40″ tall to ride in the double karts and be driven by someone over 18-years-old.

Is there an age restriction at the Batting Cages?

There are no age restrictions for the Batting Cages, however we caution you to supervise any children under 12-years-old and make sure they only enter the cages that their abilities can handle. Cage speeds range from about 35 mph to 75 mph.

Is there an age restriction at The Golf Center?

Yes. Golfers must be at least 5 years old and be able to use proper golf etiquette and respect all rules properly. This means that each golfer should be able to replace ball marks, divots and be courteous to all other golfers. Failure to do so may result in removal from The Golf Center without refund.

Are there any walk-in or drop-in programs at SportsOhio?

PowerPlay (during the outdoor season) and The Golf Center are open to the public. Please follow the links for current hours. We also have Open Play Days at Field Sports on select days throughout the year (including most school holidays & most Fridays). Anyone who wants to play on the inflatables and use available courts & fields is able to do so during these times. There are also Drop-In Soccer games for adults at Soccer First every Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-1pm.

From tournaments to birthday parties to corporate events to camps (and everything in between), this Central Ohio gem is waiting for you to discover the best in sports and family recreation.
